Handcrafted Golfer Intarsia made with 92 individual pieces of wood including Wenge, Walnut, African Mahogany and Pine. Intarsia is the art of using various shapes, sizes, and species of wood fitted together to create a mosaic-like figure with and illusion of depth. Intarsia is created through the selection of different types of wood, using the grain pattern and coloring to create various in the pattern. These take numerous hours to make with intricate cuts, hand sanding of each piece and glueing it all together. Finished with a semi-gloss lacquer finish. 21” high x 13” wide and 3/4” deep.
